    Max grew up in Victoria and completed a Physiotherapy degree in Melbourne before moving to NSW to study medicine. After completing GP training, Max was primarily practicing with the team at Kotara Family Practice before moving to Auckland for the duration of 2021. While in New Zealand, Max was consulting at Ponsonby Medical Centre and was also the Medical Director for the Australia/New Zealand branch of Teladoc International.

    Max has now returned to Newcastle has been consulting at Whitebridge Medical Centre since mid February 2022. Max also provides after hours coverage with the GP access team at John Hunter and Belmont Hospital.

    Max enjoys providing quality and collaborative healthcare for his local community while also fostering long term relationships with the families he cares for. Outside of medicine Max enjoys surfing, golf and spending time with his family.

    Dr Ken has been practicing in Cessnock for many years alongside a variety of other pursuits. Dr Ken no longer provides routine GP services and has focussed now on Skin Cancer management.

    Alongside his practice at Whitebridge Dr Ken is also a surgical assistant, medicolegal expert and an international competition level wine judge.

    Dr Kathleen has worked as a GP in the Hunter since 2018, enjoying the whole spectrum of general practice care.

    She has gained additional qualifications including the Diploma of Child Health and FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health, and has a particular interest and experience in supporting patients with gender affirming medical care.

    Kathleen also has an interest in exploring evidence-based approaches to conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and associated disorders.     Dr Vim is a long time Newcastle local having studied at the University of Newcastle. After completing her studies she worked for a number of years with the Hunter New England Area Health Service before undertaking further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then transitioned into General Practice and completed her training in 2019.

    Dr Vim manages all aspects of general practice care however she also has a special interest in managing women's health, sexual health and children's health.

    Elly is a specialist GP who has had the joy of working in the wider Newcastle region since 2011. 

    Elly sees many patients who are neurodivergent and has a particular passion for supporting those with ADHD. Being neurospicy herself, she understands the condition from both a medical and a lived experience perspective. Other subspecialty interests include young women’s health, menopause, early pregnancy management, mental health, facial skin conditions (e.g. acne, rosacea and photoaging) and the health of little ones. Bring in a baby to see Elly and you will make her day.

    In her consultations, Elly approaches each patient with genuine care and without judgment. She believes that taking the time to get to know her patient's unique health needs, and building trust, leads to better physical and mental health outcomes.

    *For this reason, Elly’s default appointment length is 25 mins*. If you only require a 10 min appointment, please advise reception when booking.

    Elly lives with her husband, two little girls and a lively menagerie of pets. When not at work, Elly will be found doing something artsy, indulging her sweet tooth or trying to convince her family that they should adopt another rescue kitten. Elly will never be found willingly cooking.

    Michelle White graduated from the University of Sydney with honours in 2010. Michelle's post graduate qualifications include the Diploma of Child Health and fellowship with Royal College of General Practitioners.  

    Michelle is interested in all aspects of general practice and enjoys the variety that working in a family practice offers. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a particular interest in children’s health, women's health and preventative health care.
